Before hanging out a shingle of their own in 2014, Doris and Jacqueline worked together at another professional genealogical firm; Doris as Quality Control Manager/Lead Genealogist, and Jacqueline and Genealogical Production Manager/Lead Genealogist.  Jacqueline and Doris quickly learned that their two heads and their two skill sets joined together was unbeatable.  FMO Research leverages a global team of genealogists and agents assisting in the research process.

Jacqueline Tritsch, Certified Genealogist®, President and Director of West Coast (Utah) Office

As a founding partner at FMO Research, Jacqueline has over 25 years of experience in genealogical research, specializing in kinship determination, unknown or missing heirs, and due diligence research regarding estate, insurance, title, trust and unclaimed property matters.  Jacqueline is a Certified Genealogist® by the Board for Certification of Genealogists.

Jacqueline actually started her genealogical career while still a young child, working as a copy helper for her genealogist mother, armed with a bucket of nickels and a stool so she could reach the top of the copier.  Jacqueline has an affinity for researching immigrant families and over the years has helped hundreds of families locate their original foreign point of origin.

Jacqueline enjoys teaching others to do genealogical research themselves and served as a volunteer researcher at the LDS Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah for two years.  While at the FHL, Jacqueline specialized in British Isles and Italian research, taught many training classes, and wrote many training aids.

Jacqueline lives near Salt Lake City, Utah with her husband Todd.  Together they have three grown children, including one of her sons who is carrying on the family tradition and has become a genealogist as well.  Jacqueline enjoys travel to any destination with a beach, is an award-winning photographer, and is a connoisseur of fine chocolate.
